The Sammas are primarily herdsmen and are more conservative when it comes to tourists. In Gandhi nu Gam, the Meghwals live in beautifully painted bhungas or huts. The Kanjari (blouses) worn by women are decorated with colourful patterns. At Hodka, relish a typical Kutchi lunch at Shaame-e-Sarhad Village Resort. The village is famous for its crafts work like decorative mirrors, lamps, hand fans, letter boxes, wall hangings, and exquisite silver jewellery. The artisans sell their goods directly from their artistic huts.
